The London Self-Directed Support Forum are at the forefront of the personalisation of social and health care.
They are a thriving network of professionals who meet to share, develop and review good practice.
The forum is unique in its field as the only place where both staff from the statutory sector and those from the voluntary and independent sector meet and work together as equals.
Their work is focused on practice and policy within Greater London. However as most issues in self-directed support are common regardless of locality, people working outside London are very welcome to join.
The Forum provides a safe, honest space where people can admit to each other that sometimes things aren’t going so well and then know they will be supported to put them right.
For more information on the Forum, and with details of how you can join please take a look at their website: https://www.londonsdsforum.org.uk/
The next forum meeting is planned for Friday 6th December 2019 in London.
