How to apply for Direct Payments ?
If you wish to be considered to receive Direct Payments from your local authority you will first need your social care needs assessed. You can arrange this by getting in contact with your usual support network within your local social services department. Your representative will explain how it could work for you and help to put you in touch with people to enable you to employ your own support directly.
